A young businesswoman's complicated personal life is further troubled by her vivid nightmares about a murder of a woman she's never met. The dreams propel her to investigate the crime, and what she discovers begins to threaten her own life.
THE BUZZ: Sarah Michelle Gellar is becoming something of a thriller queen, even though her Buffy career ended years ago now. Thanks to The Grudge's big opening (and subsequent $100+ million box office), it's no wonder studios are vying for her to star in their supernatural thrillers. We love her, we love slow, psychological terror, and we hope you do, too. She might not be the most dynamic actress around, but she's always going to be one to root for. Director Asif Kapadia makes an awkward segue way from The Warrior to this, while Adam Sussman (TV's "Night Stalker") makes his screenwriting debut. (via IMDb)
